According to Mail Online, this is the third time in five days that David Crowe has been arrested. He was seen lurking around Taylor Swift's apartment in New York City on Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday. On Wednesday, he was charged with stalking in the fourth-degree, as well as harassment in the first and second degrees. However, he was released under supervision by a Manhattan judge.

But here's where things get even stranger. Crowe, wearing a gray jacket, light pants, white sneakers, and a blue backpack, was caught diving into a large green dumpster near Taylor Swift's Tribeca home on Wednesday afternoon.

He was seen peering inside the dumpster from different angles, which understandably left nearby neighbors concerned. Thankfully, the New York City Police Department swiftly responded to a 911 call reporting a disorderly male on Franklin Street at 1.35pm. Crowe, realizing he was in trouble, left the location and walked into the first precinct, where he was promptly taken into custody.

One resident who witnessed the bizarre scene shared their account with The New York Post, saying, "I just saw him digging through this dumpster, taking out some blankets, and then he just went and sat down on the loading dock a few doors down from Swift's apartment." It's clear that Crowe's actions were causing alarm among the community.

Prosecutors revealed that Crowe, originally from Seattle, has been spotted at Taylor Swift's Tribeca home as many as 30 times over the past two months. He allegedly made multiple attempts to speak with the singer. Interestingly, Crowe was wearing a sweatshirt with a quote by American author Ursula K Le Guin that read, "Love doesn't just sit there, like a stone, it has to be made, like bread; remade all the time, made new."

He did not enter a plea but was ordered not to contact Swift.

On Monday, Crowe was arrested for the second time after police received reports of his erratic behavior outside Swift's $20 million apartment on Franklin Street. A neighbor told the New York Post that the man had been frequently seen outside the building since Christmas. He would sit on the doorstep, chain-smoke, and tell people that he was there to see Swift. At one point, he even had flowers for her. Another resident who spotted him said she also saw him over the weekend, looking inside the dumpster.

In 2021, Swift spoke about her growing fear of stalkers and creepy fans in an interview with Elle. She revealed that her fear of violence has extended into her personal life. She now carries a QuikClot army-grade bandage dressing, which is typically used for gunshot or stab wounds. Swift explained that having had numerous stalkers attempting to break into her house, she feels the need to be prepared for the worst.

In May 2023, another alleged stalker named Mitchel Taebel, 36, from Indiana, was arrested after visiting Swift's Nashville home, following a series of bizarre incidents, USA TODAY reported at the time.
