Singer, songwriter, and actress Renée Jane Rapp had a little mishap as she left The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Wednesday night. She was holding an open bottle of champagne and, in her excitement, took a tumble.
The 23-year-old actress, who was in high spirits, quickly came crashing back down to reality when she tripped on a step.
However, to everyone's surprise, her bottle of Veuve Clicquot miraculously survived the fall without a single drop spilled. Two gentlemen rushed to her aid and helped her back up. Sensibly, she decided to hand over the bottle before getting into a waiting car.
Renée looked stunning in a burgundy zip-up leather jacket and matching skirt, paired with stylish boots for her late-night TV appearance. Her stumble occurred just one night after she dazzled at the New York City premiere of the upcoming Mean Girls remake, where she paid tribute to her character, Regina George.
She wore a fabulous black satin tuxedo dress designed by Christian Siriano for the star-studded event.
In another recent incident, Renée expressed her displeasure with comedian Jo Koy's jokes at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards. During a fun game of "ins and outs" on the official TikTok page of TODAY With Hoda & Jenna, Renée revealed that one of her "outs" was the jokes made by Koy at the awards show.
She also shared her frustration over a man who rudely yelled at her to smile at 8 a.m. on January 8th. Her response? A resounding "Go to hell," as reported by TODAY.
