Jason Momoa’s Wife Lisa Bonet Files For Divorce

Almost two years after the famous couple made their separation public, actor Lisa Bonet has officially filed for divorce from "Aquaman" star Jason Momoa. The Associated Press has obtained court documents that state "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind their decision. The petition also reveals that Bonet and Momoa have already agreed on how to divide their assets and neither party is seeking financial support. They are both seeking joint custody of their 16-year-old daughter, Lola, and 15-year-old son, Nakoa-Wolf.

Bonet, who is 56 years old, is also the mother of actor Zoë Kravitz, whom she shares with her first husband, rocker Lenny Kravitz. On the other hand, Momoa's marriage to Bonet was his first. The couple first met in 2005 and dated for several years before tying the knot in 2017. Interestingly, court records indicate that their separation actually occurred in October 2020, more than a year before they publicly announced their split.

Momoa, now 44 years old, had been working as an actor for quite some time before gaining immense popularity for his role as Khal Drogo in "Game of Thrones." Since then, he has continued to achieve success with his lead role as Aquaman in various Justice League movies.

When rumors started circulating about a possible reconciliation between the two, Momoa was quick to clarify during an interview on the 2022 Oscars red carpet. He stated, "We're not back together. We're family... We have two beautiful children together."
