Cameron Diaz has broken her silence following her inclusion in the recently unsealed Jeffrey Epstein documents. On the evening of January 3, 2024, the courts made public a collection of documents that revealed the names of 187 individuals, including celebrities and public figures, who were implicated in the various legal proceedings surrounding the late disgraced millionaire. Epstein, who took his own life in prison in August 2019, has been the subject of intense scrutiny and investigation.
Among the notable names mentioned in these documents was Cameron Diaz, a renowned actress who is now addressing the situation. However, Diaz's publicist vehemently denies any connection between their client and the convicted Epstein. In a statement to Page Six on January 5, Diaz's representative stated, "Cameron never met Jeffrey Epstein, nor was she ever in the same vicinity as him or had any association with him whatsoever, regardless of any mention or implication made by him."
While it appears that Cameron Diaz had no involvement with Epstein, it is worth noting that many others named in the court documents did establish relationships with him. One such individual is Prince Andrew, who has been accused of assaulting some of the young women allegedly trafficked by Epstein, including Sjoberg. In light of these allegations, a lawyer representing several of Epstein's victims has insisted that Prince Andrew must testify under oath regarding his role in the abuse scandal. Failure to tell the truth during this testimony could result in imprisonment for the prince, as reported by The Guardian.
Former President Bill Clinton's name also appears multiple times in the documents, although he denies any knowledge of Epstein's crimes, despite photographic evidence suggesting a close bond between the two. The unsealing of scandalous court documents stems from an order issued by Manhattan federal Judge Loretta Preska, as part of accuser Virginia Guiffre's defamation lawsuit against Epstein's alleged madam, Ghislaine Maxwell. It is anticipated that additional court records will be made public in the coming days.
