The lawsuit stems from an incident in January 2022, where Kanye allegedly punched a fan outside a members-only club in downtown Los Angeles. The incident was even caught on video, which the court documents obtained by TMZ confirm.
The man who filed the lawsuit claims that Kanye shouted, "I'm going to make an example of you," and made references to Kim Kardashian, months before their divorce was finalized. When the man asked for an apology, Kanye allegedly dismissed him by saying, "Apology for what?" The rapper then proceeded to strike the fan multiple times, causing severe injuries.
